Auto CAD
AutoCAD : - Autocad mean’s automatic computer aided design.
AutoCAD is a commercial computer-aided design and drafting software application. Developed and marketed by Autodesk, AutoCAD was first released in December 1982.
It is a computer application, used for creating 2d and 3d design.
Difference between 2D & 3D:- In 2D drawing we use for 2 dimension (Length & Width ) But in 3D drawing we use for 3 dimension (Length ,Width & Height/Thickness, Depth )
Engineering Drawing : - It is the graphical language use by engineers of architects, civil, mechanical engineers etc. to convey represent their design.

Unit Command :- (Un enter)
For measurement purpose such as for length units are used Millimeter,Centimeter,Inch and Feet etc.
Dimension Styles:- It is the formatting of dimension’s to be display.
(D enter) > Go to Modify > Set the formate
1-      Line
a)      Dimension line color= magenta
b)      Extension line color = grey
c)      Extend beyond dim. Line =1.25
d)      Offset from origin = 1.50
2-      Symbol & Arrows
a)      Arrows size = 2
b)      Arrows format = Closed filled
3-      Text
a)       Text height = 2
b)       Text color = green
c)      Text placement –vertical = above
d)      Offset from dim. Line = 0.5
e)      ISO Standard
4-       Scale
a)      Scale = 2 or more
5-      Primary Unit Decimal
a)      Unit format = Decimal or Your Choice
b)      Precision = 0 , 0.0 or more
Edit the more option in this dialog box as a situation according you.
Click OK then Set Current.  Close the dialog box.
Co-ordinate system:-  It is use to locate/create any object/point within drawing with respect to UCS(User Co-ordinate System)
In AutoCAD we use three type of Co-ordinate system.
a)      Absolute Co-ordinate system (x,y)
b)      Relative rectangular Co-ordinate system (@x,y)
c)      Relative Polar Co-ordinate system (@dimension<angle)

Limits (Limit enter):- It is used for specify fix the region for drawing creation.
Workspace:-  It is the space available for creating a design.
Command Line ( Ctrl + 9) :- It is show the commands being used to create the design.
UCS (User Co-ordinate System) :- Icon display used to show the virtual reference of an object by using Co-ordinates.
Cross Hair: -  It is the cursor used to create design.
Standard Toolbar: -  Top most toolbar consist of standard toolbar.
Status Bar : -  Bottom most toolbar consist of various modes to be used in design creation.
Draw Tool Bar: -  Left vertical tool bar consist of drawing tools.
Status Bar : - Bottom most tool bar consist of  various  mode to use in design creation.
Draw Tool Bar : - Left vertical toolbar consist of drawing tools.
Modify Tool Bar : -  Right vertical toolbar consist of modification tools.
Calculator (Ctrl + 8) : - Show the veridical scientific calculator use for calculation.
Snap ( F9) : - Used to control the movement of cross hair via point X,Y coordinates.
Grid (F7) : - Used to control the display of grid on the workspace.
Ortho Mode (F8) : -  Used to control the alignment of object. It allows the free movement of object only on quadrants (0,90,180,270,360).
Polar Tracking (F10) : - Used to track the angle. We have to set the increment angle for tracking.
Object Snap (F3) : - Used to Show/enable the snap point of objects such as Endpoint ,Midpoint and Center point etc.
Object Snap Tracking (F11) : - Used to track the vertical snap point of object such as intersaction point of the two object.
Dynamic Input (F12) : - Used to enable the dynamic input. It show the dimension and angle which can be changed. To switch from dimension to Angle ‘Tab’ key will be used.
LWT : - Used to show/hide the Line weight/thickness . More Update Coming soon
